Sports Glam

Hello, my dear friends! Do you have to dress up most of the time at work? Or you have more relaxed office attire requirements, maybe no dress code at all? For ladies on either end of the spectrum and everyone in between, this sport chic trend can be for us all.

Going by the name you know I am talking about designs that are heavily sports-influenced, most commonly, striped pants, varsity sweaters and jackets, sneakers, and baseball caps. Personally, I prefer more tailored designs, so the striped pants and sweaters are more likely to be the pieces I would incorporate into my outfits. I think they are perfect for business casual as well as a more polished weekend look.

The pair of green pants I am wearing is from Raf Simons' first collection for Calvin Klein. The tailoring is impeccable, I really like the fit as well as the elastic wool material. I've had a few striped pants and these are my best pair. The pants come in various rich hues such as red, royal blue, and this green. They are on sale at this site and this site now.

I decided to add some shine with metallic sweater and jacquard coat. Both have a subtle sheen, they are understated while looking luxurious. Overall, this outfit strikes a nice balance between casual and glam, it is great for off-duty glam style. I would wear this outfit to a business meeting, after-work function, dinner parties, brunch even a laid-back date night.
