Leap to Summer
It was like Spring wasn't totally ready, so she asked Summer to step in for a bit. Regardless, I enjoyed the sunny, hot moments. Was perfect time for me to rock these new spring dresses I got from Cherry Blossoms Design, they are all midi dresses with simple lines and minimal color palettes, perfect for transitional season:
PFW Outfit : Elegance In Flare
For the overall silhouette, I focused on the tailored A-line look by pairing with a simple turtleneck and a pair of slim fit trousers with a fun flare. I can't really take the next day off, however, while on these trips. The best practice, as I've learned over the past few years, is power recharging the body like super-charging battery, get the best rest and recovery within the short 3 - 4 hours of sleep I might get. Here are a few of my time-tested tips:
Fuller Is Better
While some fashionistas might make it look super easy, as if they just rolled off the beach drinking margaritas and go straight to the shows looking flawless. The ugly truth is, no one really does that! It's even more true with women of older age. After I turned 40, I noticed that weight become harder to manage, my skin is getting drier and worse of all, a noticeable hair graying & loss.
